A Profile:

As managing Director of Association Offices Tony is the CEO of Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia (COSBOA), which is based in the Canberra office of Association Offices Pty. Ltd. In this role Tony has the ability to speak on a range of matters of concern to small business and small business associations. As past Deputy Chair of COSBOA and formally the National Spokesperson of the National Independent Retailers Association (NIRA) Tony has a strong belief in the worth of small business in our community. Reward for effort and the spirit of fair and free enterprise drives him to fight for the preservation of this way of life in Australia.

Tony is experienced in both Association Management and small business having been Executive Director of the Retail Traders Association of Tasmania for over 3 years and Manager of a health and fitness club along with being involved with many other organisations, and now the building of his own company Association Offices.

Tony holds a Diploma of Business Management from TAFE Tasmania and is Managing Director of Association Offices an association management company with offices in Hobart and Canberra.

Issues such as red tape, IR reform, government relations with small business, training, compliance and standards are all important to small business and affect owners at the coal face and their bottom line. Tony is always looking to communicate with small business people to ensure their message makes it to the highest levels of Government.

Tony was educated at Brisbane Grammar, Taroona High and Hobart Matriculation College, he was born in Hobart Tasmania in 1957 and has a family of four children with his wife Helen, Caitlin, James Luke and Adam, they live in Mt Stuart, inner northern suburbs of Hobart.
