Businessman and small business advocate, Tony Steven, has built a successful association management business from scratch. However, he was a little surprised when invited to be part of a book to share his personal success story.

Titled Secrets of Small Business Owners Exposed, the book takes ordinary people up-close and personal with 15 award winning business people from all over Australia.

Latest statistics show that there are almost 1.8 million small business owners across the country – many of which struggle every year to survive. In fact over half of all businesses that commence will sense to operate within one year.

However, Secrets of Small Business Owners Exposed provides hope; sharing the inspirational stories of those that have achieved personal and financial success from their business. Plus the book contains practical ideas and tips to assist others.

“It was quite humbling to be involved, especially considering the calibre of the other business people,” said Tony Steven, Managing Director of Association Offices.

Mr. Steven has a fast growing enterprise which manages several associations and as such acts as the CEO for the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia (COSBOA). In the book he shares his secrets to running a successful business by developing procedures and system as part of growing the asset.
